PANGOLIN ROOK
Pangalin Rook rises from the earth.

In African mythology and folklore, the pangolin emerges as a mythical guardian: its scales, said to originate from stars or divine origins, grant warriors and healers invincibility; the creature itself serves as a spiritual intermediary between worlds, protector of secrets and fertility.

Its reflective gleam acts as a mirror and a portal to ancestral wisdom, inviting viewers to uncover layers, channeling the primal power and spirit of the African pangolin.

The high-polish bronze reveals it’s true collors, it’s golden mirror sheen, revered in African traditions as a symbol of greatness, eternal memory, divinity, royal authority, and spiritual safeguarding against malevolent forces.

Pangalin Rook inverts this fate: emerging from its earthly base, it rebirths the endangered being as an unyielding sentinel. The title evokes the pangolin and the chess “rook,” a boundary-defending tower; here, the vanishing creature becomes the radiant guardian of quiet strength and hope.
